A. Historically, the entire field of psychology was based on findings using only white men of moderate to good health. The "fathers" of psych were of that same population -- Freud, Jung, Adler, etc. Women were studied, yes, but not in terms of how their symptoms compared to men, but in how they compared only to other women, whose diagnosis most frequently were prefaced by "hysterical___" and that term colored any and all research that could have ever been of value. Because of the feminist movement and also because of the progress made within the field itself, the pendulum type backlash, particularly in the 80's and 90's, was for the field to concentrate almost exclusively on women. What are the other research options available for REALLY good coders ?
Q. I am a B.Tech Graduate from Anna university chennai, India. Right now i have 2 years of experience with a well reputed MNC. I love programming and algorithms, i am planning to take my masters in US. The problem is , if i go for a research in Algorithms, it is going to be fully theory and managing the same with a part time job is really hard. What are the other research options available for REALLY good coders ?

What current research is being conducted to make blood transfusions safer and more efficient?
Q. I am conducting a biology assignment which asks for current areas of research as described above. I read about the findings into nitric oxide and the redistribution of this into blood products. Is anything currently (2009) being done about this?

A. If you're doing a research assignment. I hope you aren't expecting someone to write your paper for you. Your best bet is to check out papers from a source like JSTOR or Google Scholar.
